Social Enterprises
Employment is the goal of many people that walk through our doors.

Employment is the goal of many people that walk through our doors, but they may lack the skills they need to compete in the job market. We want to help build their skills and our philosophy is that the best way to do this is through intensive soft skill development and providing training opportunities in an authentic workplace setting.

Our social enterprises employ learners and job-seekers from the Learning Exchange while competing in the marketplace alongside traditional employers. The profits generated by our social enterprises are reinvested back into their teams to help further their professional and personal development. Employees of social enterprises have gone on to secure affordable housing, transition away from social assistance, complete their GED and purchase vehicles and homes, among other important milestones.
