G.O.A.L.S.
Achieve high school credits

The Growing Occupational Academic & Life Skills (G.O.A.L.S.) is for youth ages 16 to 25 who have not finished high school and are looking to complete their Adult High School Diploma. G.O.A.L.S. is an opportunity to achieve high school credits in English, Math, Art, World Issues, Outdoor Pursuits, Environmental Science and more in a small class setting with a teacher and a tutor, which allows for a lot of individual attention.

Work at your
own pace

G.O.A.L.S. youth work on one subject at a time at their own pace with a focus on project-based and hands-on learning. Participants will also participate in class outings and have opportunities to pursue other training and certification, such as obtaining a driver’s permit and/or license, First Aid & CPR Certification, or Food Safety. The class schedule also allows for participants to continue to work while working toward the Adult High School Diploma.

Earn credits,
earn money

While participating in G.O.A.L.S. all youth will build their soft skills through individual and group activities, and have an opportunity to participate in individualized coaching and goal setting. Participants set goals and earn money when they achieve them. They also earn money for attendance, completing assignments, and achieving high school credit.
