Our Programs

 

Our objective here at the Learning Exchange is to help you reach your academic and employment goals. Our program facilitators are experts at providing you with the tools and supports you need to be successful. We have created a number of different programs, each with specific outcomes depending on your needs. Whether you are looking to improve your literacy and numeracy in order to pursue post-secondary education, or are having challenges re-entering the workforce and could use some additional supports, we have a program for you.



Community Adult Learning Program (C.A.L.P) is our academic focused program aimed at helping you obtain your General Education Diploma (GED) or strengthen your literacy and numeracy. For more information on our CALP program click here.




Basic Education and Skills Training (B.E.S.T) is geared towards those preparing for employment or post-secondary education. The B.E.S.T. program provides a supportive and comfortable learning environment for participants and focuses on the benefit of community engagement and self-development. Work Essential Skills (W.E.S) is an employment and skills based program. The focus of this program is strengthening the nine Work Essential Skills to prepare participants for employment. For more information on our W.E.S. program, click here.




WorkLinks is our in-house employment assistance service. Our workforce coaches are ready to help you confidently market yourself to employers.
