Canada Donates and the Learning Exchange have partnered to run weekly 50/50 draws. The draws are run in the same manner as other 50/50 draws for which you may have purchased a ticket. A randomly selected winner receives 50% of ticket sales and the Learning Exchange and Canada Donates will profit from the other 50% of ticket sales.
50/50Tics offers a risk free fundraising opportunity to charities and not-for-profit organizations by providing a ticket sales service for charitable 50/50 draws. They are currently in the process of building a kiosk network across New Brunswick to sell these tickets. These kiosks are, and will continue to be, placed at local establishments throughout New Brunswick with owners’ who are interested in giving back to their community.
Kiosk locations can be found here!
Winning numbers can be found on the 50/50Tics website (www.5050tics.com), the Learning Exchange (www.sjle.org) website or on the kiosks themselves.
The advantage of the Learning Exchange’s 50/50 draw over a typical 50/50 draw is that it has the ability to reach a larger audience for a longer period of time. This will help increase the jackpot, a benefit for both the winner and the Learning Exchange. Purchasing a ticket is truly a win-win situation as you receive the chance of winning half of the total jackpot and, if you lose, you are still helping the Learning Exchange fulfill the mandate of improving education and reducing poverty in our community.
Unlike other lotteries, all winners will be local. It is beneficial for all winnings to stay within the province in which the tickets were purchased rather than having a winner from another province receive the benefits of ticket sales in New Brunswick.
